Belnet launched the free service Belnet Threat Intelligence on 1 February this year. All organizations that are connected to the Belnet network and have IP addresses provided by Belnet have since then been automatically notified when Belnet detects possible vulnerabilities and infections.

By default, the Security Contact Person (SCP) of the relevant organisation is informed via a ticket (with accompanying e-mail) of the vulnerable IP address, the type of threat and the date and time it was detected.

It is very important to patch the vulnerable or infected IP address as soon as possible as it is a potential gateway for cyber criminals.

On our service page you can read more about what type of vulnerabilities and infections Belnet Threat Intelligence detects and through which other reporting channels your organisation can receive these notifications.
