In addition to a very high-capacity network, Belnet offers services focused on higher education, such as eduroam. This is a service that allows millions of students to use Wi-Fi at all member institutions, anywhere in the world.
Through the Belnet network, colleges are connected to the European network GÉANT. This groups together all the national research and education networks (NRENs) in Europe and connects them with other NRENs worldwide.
