In parallel with regular contacts at the operational level, the Belnet management wanted to meet its counterparts from the institutions connected to the network. Their desire was to learn about the medium and long-term strategies and visions of our community.
The intention is to continue to evolve our network according to the digital evolution of our communities. This will go through regular meetings whether individually or in groups like May 8th.
While the discussions and interactions were at the center of the evening, various speakers also fueled the debate. Jean-Luc Martou and Xavier Van Moen, respectively IT director of UCLouvain and VUB, Luc Mabille, chief of staff of the Minister of Science Policy and Pierre Bruyère, Chairman of the management committee and chiefly first director of Belnet have followed one another to remind us of aligning our strategy with those of our various communities.
The various speakers also recalled the need to give Belnet the means to pursue its mission, which is essential for the research and higher education sector as well as for public administrations.
Finally, they have launched promising avenues for future collaborations.
After the success of this event, Belnet wants to multiply meetings with his community. Visit our website regularly to stay informed of the latest news.
