BAMS, the solution that protects organizations from email threats such as malware, phishing and spam, will continue to be available to Belnet customers for the next 4 years thanks to a new framework agreement.
The public contract for network security issued by Smals was awarded earlier this month and is once again going to Fortinet's products and services. This means Belnet customers with BAMS can continue to enjoy tailored e-mail protection at a competitive price.
With BAMS, customers get their own virtual machine on the Belnet network depending on the number of domains they use and the number of emails sent per hour. Because Fortinet has decided to discontinue the VM00 instance (for the lowest number of domains and emails per hour), existing customers will only have the choice between VM01 and VM02 when renewing their license.
In the coming weeks, our account managers will contact existing customers to inform them about the new pricing, which will take effect on 1 January 2025.
