In 2020, the European research and education network GÉANT is organising the prestigious TNC conference for the 36th time. Are you an IT professional wanting to share your innovative ideas or research projects with experts from all over the world? Then don’t hesitate to submit a proposal to the Programme Committee.

As usual, GÉANT is looking for speakers who want to share their ideas on the TNC stage every year. You can apply for a classic 25-minute presentation or a 30-minute demo. There’s a new option this year as well; you can organise an interactive meeting of 2 hours. Visit the TNC website to find more information on the conditions and deadlines for submitting your application.

Customised programme for promising students

Young professionals are also given the opportunity to show off their talent to an international audience at TNC. For example, this year, a student from the Belnet community presented his project for a new programming language during a ‘Lightning Talk’.

Do you know any promising IT students who are working on an innovative idea or project? Then have them contact us so that we can register them for GÉANT’s Future Talent Programme. The deadline for applications is 28 February 2020.

Every student who participates in the programme receives tailor-made training to optimally prepare to speak in front of an audience. In addition, selected students can participate in the TNC20 free of charge.

Largest networking conference

The TNC is the largest European networking conference and brings together hundreds of decision makers and specialists in the field of networking, collaboration, identity, and access management every year.

The TNC20 is hosted by the British research network JISC and will be held from 8 to 12 June in Brighton.
