Since 2016, at the request of Belspo (The Federal Science Policy), Belnet has been connecting the 10 FSIs through a stable and redundant network infrastructure, the ScienceMAN network.
In late 2021, Belnet took over management of Orfeo, an Open Science platform with nearly 8,000 scientific publications resulting from Belspo-funded research programmes. This repository enables the FSIs to disclose their scientific production according to internationally agreed standards and to create more visibility.
